Contained within this section is a list of 65 Vendor Training Programs from the ICT industry that have been mapped to elements of competency from the ICP05 ICT Training Package. The programs are drawn from the offerings of more that fourteen Vendors or Internationally recognised organisations.

There are two ways to view the mappings:

• Select Vendor Programs to view a list of the Industry programs that have been mapped. You can then view for each program the specific competency elements that have been assessed as matching the vendor program.
• Alternatively, select ICP05 Mappings. Then you can search for and select a specific unit of competency to see which vendor programs match all or some of the unit.

Once a program or unit has been selected for viewing you can switch from competency to program focus, download the material against which the mapping has been judged, or print/save the mapping for inclusion in your own documentation.

This mapping tool does not represent that training or certification by vendors or other parties is a substitute for an RTO's obligation to gather appropriate evidence of competence in an element or unit of competency.

The purpose of this tool is to provide guidance as to how a training program (or training prior to vendor assessment) can be integrated into training programs provided by RTO's for competency standards in ICP05.

Where there is a one to one relation ship between a Vendor's training program and assessment there may be indication of the relevant exam in the Explanatory Notes. Where a vendor exam assesses multiple training programs, the outcomes of the training program will be mapped in preference to the outcomes of the vendor assessment.
